Is this an ATEM Mini alternative? +
Yes. The R2 Plus covers the same four-HDMI-input workflow as an ATEM Mini, and adds what Blackmagic leaves off: a built-in 5.5" multiview, a physical T-bar, PTZ camera control, a 5th media channel and local recording to USB.
Can it stream to YouTube and Facebook at the same time? +
Yes. Dual RTMP push over Ethernet supports two simultaneous destinations up to 1080p60 at 30 Mbps, with a simultaneous local recording to USB.
Does it work as a webcam for OBS / Zoom? +
Yes. Plug the USB-C 3.0 port into any computer and the R2 Plus appears as a standard UVC webcam. OBS, Zoom, Teams and Skype see it instantly — no drivers.
Does it record or stream in 4K? +
It accepts 4K on HDMI IN1–IN2, but program output, streaming and recording are 1080p. This keeps latency under three frames and matches what every live platform actually consumes.
Is NDI included? +
NDI pull-stream requires an optional activation license. SRT and RTMP pull-stream are built in, plus UVC webcam input over USB.
Can it control my PTZ cameras? +
Yes. Up to four LAN PTZ cameras can be discovered and controlled directly from the R2 Plus — pan, tilt, zoom, focus, exposure and ten presets per camera.
